We never upload or store your Excel / CSV contact lists.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Unlike many cloud services, our Chrome Extension does not proxy or route your messages through any external intermediary server. Specifically:

  • Customer Contacts: Phone numbers, names, email addresses, or custom spreadsheet columns imported into the extension remain in local browser memory.
  • Message Content & Attachments: Message templates, images, documents, and PDF files you transmit are sent directly from your WhatsApp Web session to WhatsApp’s servers via end-to-end encryption.
  • WhatsApp Credentials & Chat History: We have no access to your WhatsApp password, encryption keys, or private conversation history.

2. Information Processed by the Extension

To provide service features such as daily transmission limits and anti-abuse safeguards, the extension interacts with our backend API for the following minimal purposes:

  • Account Identifier: The extension detects the connected phone number on WhatsApp Web to verify your active plan status and fetch system announcements.
  • Aggregated Usage Counts: A counter of total messages processed (e.g. 50 messages sent today) is recorded to display statistics in your extension popup.
  • Voluntary Feedback: If you explicitly submit feedback through our website or extension form, we collect the text and optional contact info you provide to answer your request.

3. Google Chrome Web Store Single-Purpose Compliance

WA Bulk Messenger complies with the Google Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

  • The extension requests only permissions necessary to automate user-initiated actions on web.whatsapp.com.
  • Data accessed via Chrome permissions is never transferred to third parties for advertising, credit scoring, or unauthorized purposes.

All communications with our backend API use TLS/HTTPS encryption. Our servers are hardened against unauthorized access, and we do not store sensitive communication data.
